Sidereal Time

A video from the Rise Industries residency at the Institute of Cultural Inquiry in Los Angeles. This video shows the swinging of two Foucault's Pendulums at different locations on the globe - each pointed at the center of the earth, and with their rotation controlled by the earths rotation. The project seeks to reveal the mechanisms defining time as we measure it. This video is a collaboration with Sarah Rushford.
