Elliptical editing is applied to a streetlight hanging in front of a view of Century City. While rising shadows on the towers and the changing colors of the sky track the setting of the sun, the streetlight in the foreground flips rapidly though states. Moving objects caught in the editing process jump in and out of frame from time to time, betraying the method used to alter the passing of time.
